Rock around the dam. Traditional Geocache
Louise_Gerhard: Conditions changed a bit at this dam. We had an attempted high jacking about 2 weeks ago. Tonight we heard three shots fired and police and reaction force was here. This area is now longer safe. The gate is removed and a full fence is installed. The cacher now needs to leave his vehicle and he need to enter via another point and he then needs to move along tall grass where he can be ambushed. Considering all the factors and the safety of the cachers and his family I therefor have no choice but to archive this cache with immediate effect. Thanks for the visits received. Gerhard + Louise

This should be an easy cache, it all depends if the gate is locked. If it is locked then you will have to find the correct entrance, only search for this cache during day time and keep your eyes open. No searching for this cache during night time. I do mean it. My residence is close to the cache and there is some strange activities noted in this area when the sun is down. No cache is more important than your own safety and/or health.
In addition please do the following at the cache. This is not a requirement to log the cache but a voluntary action. I would like to measure the accuracy of the different instruments. 1. Place your GPS on the cache. 2. Note the GPS waypoint on your GPS and please note your waypoint in your log. 3. Please specify which GPS you were using. Thanks for the effort.
