Jumping Off Place Traditional Cache

Easy Park & Grab at the beginning of the Black River feeder canal. Should be winter accessible but you might have to dig through the snowbank if there is a lot of snow.

I've been thinking about putting a cache here for some time. After replacing the Twin Bridges cache I stopped here to look for a good place and decided to drop a cache on the spot. 

When you get there you'll probably understand the cache name, especially if it is on a hot summer day.

In the summer you can drive down the towpath road to the dam. You can bike or walk all the way to Boonville, or snowmobile in the winter.
