Geocache Description:

Pinnacle was gazetted as a town in 1902. Elsie Nash St and Eungella Road around to the Pinnacle Pub was once the Commercial area of town. Over the years it has boasted a Blacksmith, a portable Sawmill, two General Stores, Post Office, two halls, a Catholic Church which became the Uniting Church which is currently The Flackyard Restaurant. A Methodist Church  became the Red Cross Hall which is currently Badila Art Centre. The museum closed in the 1990s.  It  had a train station with daily services to Mackay which in the early days carried students to Mackay State High School leaving here at 7am and arriving back at 5:30pm.  Currently Pinnacle is home to the Art Centre, the Pinnacle Playhouse, the Pinnacle Cricket Club, Pinnacle Pub, the state school and an Electricity Depot. Drop by on your way to Teemburra Dam and No Dam View.

You will need to bring a writing implement. Children will need to be supervised due to traffic.
