Le col est accessible en voiture mais la piste n’est pas en très bon état (surtout depuis L’Argentière-la-Bessée via le Vallon du Fournel). Le plus sympa est de s’y rendre en VTT ou à pied par le chemin des vaches.
Un autre itinéraire, moins pentu, consiste à partir de la station 1600 en passant par le plateau de Tournoux.
En hiver, accessible en raquettes ou en ski de fond (mais il faudra creuser la neige pour trouver la cache).
The Pousterle Pass, above Puy Saint Vincent, will grant you with great views over the Vallouise valley and the Glacier blanc on one side, and over the Vallon du Fournel on the other side.
The pass is accessible by car but the forest road is in pretty bad shape (especially the Fournel side). The best is to get there by bike or by foot, following the “chemin des vaches”.
Another itinerary is to start from Station 1600 and go across the Plateau de Tournoux. This way is less steep.
In the winter time, you can access with snowshoes or cross country skis (but you’ll have to dig out some snow to find the cache!)
