Geocache Description:

Record a find on at least one cache in each of at least six different North American States or Provinces, in one calendar day. Nebraska MUST be included in the list. If you are like me, you won't read below for more details, but here is a challenge checker that you can use:

A year ago my youngest son and I went on a road trip from Omaha, NE to Raleigh, NC.  I love driving long distances and have put in many 2,500+ mile driving road trips.  I just recently completed a 3,100 mile, 8 day road trip from NE to SD, ND, MB, SK, ON, MN, MI, IA, and back to NE with three of my caching buddies.  We didn't find hundreds of caches, simply not enough time, but we did find the oldest active cache in each of MB, MN, WI, and IA, and on a personal note, I finished my fizzy grid for the first time.  There is just something to a long road trip, especially when you avoid the Interstates.

The cache IS at the listed location.

To qualify for this cache:
o    You must find at least one cache in each of six, or more, North American States / Provinces, all in the same calendar day.

The fine print:
o    For the calendar impaired, same calendar day means between Midnight and 11:59:59.999 p.m. of the same day, month, and year.

o    Nebraska, MUST be one of the States / Provinces

o    All States / Provinces must be in North America - north of Panama, south of the Arctic Ocean, west of the Atlantic Ocean, east of the Pacific Ocean - based on Wikipedia's definition of North America.
o    Six or more unique States / Provinces, must be provided
o    The caches may be any cache type
o    I will verify your cache finds
o    Electronic logs of this cache that do not qualify will be deleted
o    Electronic logs of this cache, without a physical signature of the cache log, will be deleted - I live close enough and drive by enough to verify the signatures
o    You may sign the physical log without qualifying and later sign the electronic log when you do qualify - please record an electronic log note stating that you did so.
o    All modes of transportation are allowed, such as: walk, run, bike, drive, train, hot air balloon, airplane, UFO, transporter machine - If you have a UFO or transporter machine, I want to play with it too! However, going back in time is not permitted to qualify.
o    Record in your log, the six qualifying States / Provinces, including the day, State / Province, GC Code, and Cache Name - It is only six caches, so please don't send me a bookmark. If you insist on posting a bookmark, please keep your bookmark list to just the applicable caches.
o Logs must include qualifications within two weeks of electronically signing the log or the log will be deleted. I will do my best to contact you before I delete your log.

My qualifications, just to show it can be done:
02 Aug 2012
Nebraska GC1EZT0    Downtown / Main Street USA: Bellevue, NE
Iowa GCGJJG     L&C "Chauvin"-Hamburg-McKissock
Missouri GC1HPFE  Rest and/or Find Me II
Illinois GC1NABN SO CONFUSED
Indiana GC3CVN7 GS - Hoosier Land TB Hotel
Kentucky GC2VF8Y I Could Have Stayed in a..Cache
in hindsight, I was soooo close to KS and OH, I could have gotten 8

Walking to the GZ does involve walking / jumping across a narrow, shallow ditch. It is shallow enough that you can step down into it. The ditch may be a surprise if the grass is tall or the snow is deep or if you simply are not paying attention to where you walk. There is parking nearby, so please park in a marked parking spot and not along the entry to the rest area, as this is a busy rest area.

I've marked that it is not winter friendly.  Heck, it is laying on the ground at the base of a tree. It is a fairly good sized medicine bottle, so assuming that everyone puts it back at the base of the tree, you should be able to dig it out of snow.

Congrats to Contryguy for FTF!
