Chipmunk Serenade
So the Queen Ant has been wanting to get back out and hide some more caches along her favorite nature trails. Kensington is and always will be the Queen Ants favorite. So today was FINALLY that day. The Queen Ant and kidlettes came out to hide a few and do a nice little walk. The kids really weren't feeling the want/need like The Queen Ant was......but I'm a very mean mom and didn't really give them much of a choice on the matter. Didn't bring any birdseed with us on this adventure. So if you do come out to the park bring some......the birds will eat it out of your hand. I was walking by this area when we heard and then saw a cute chipmunk chirping at us from his/her perch in a nearby tree. At this point I decided that this would be the location of our first hide for the day.
This should be a pretty easy find. Not too far from GZ is the remains of what used to be the Labadie Cabin. If you would like to learn more about the Labadie Cabin and what they did for Kensington, stop into the Nature Center or visit the link below

There is so much history in this area. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. The cache should be a pretty easy find. Located about 20-30 feet from the trail. Well hidden small clear lock and lock. A big THANK YOU to Kensington for allowing me to hide more caches.
This cache is located within Kensington Metropark. A Metroparks permit is required: $5 daily pass, $25 annual pass, $15 Seniors. All park rules and regulations apply. Park in parking lots only.
