Cache is a small size box which includes a pencil, logbook. Watch out of mugglers and place it back same as you found it.

Varkaļu kanāls ir 1988. g. pabeigtā Babītes ezera noteka uz Lielupi. Izveidots aizbērtās Spuņņupes vietā, lai uzlabotu ūdensapmaiņu ezerā un lai samazinātu caurplūdumu Lielupē pie Valteriem un Dubultu līkumā. Lai samazinātu sāļā jūras ūdens ieplūdi ezerā un stabilizētu ezera līmeni, ierīkotas slūžas, kas gan netiek darbinātas. Pa poldera apvadkanālu Varkaļu kanālā tiek ievadīti Neriņas, Dzilnupes un citu ezera austrumu gala pieteku ūdens. Kanālu šķērso autoceļš A10 - Jūrmalas apvedceļš, kuru ikdienā izmanto ļoti daudz cilvēki, lai nokļūtu Rīgā uz darbu vai citām vajadzībām. Vieta, kur apvedceļš šķērso kanālu ir ļoti populāra makšķerēšanas vieta un man personīgi vienmēr licies ironiski skatīties kā daudzi kaislīgi copmaņi spiningo tieši blakus zīmei ''Makšķerēt aizliegts!"
