Du haut de ses 177m, Le Mont Violette vous offre un panorama sur le bocage boulonnais:
au pied, Verlincthun et la forêt d'Hardelot,
à l'Est, Samer,
au Nord, le Mont Lambert,
au Nord-Ouest, le dôme de la cathédrale de Boulogne,
à l'Ouest, la mer.
Au sommet, vous découvrirez un étrange bâtiment, appelé "les 40 000 briques": c'est une ancienne batterie de défense qui sert aujourd'hui d'abri pour les vaches.
