Sur cette plaine toute proche des villages de Nance et Bletterans, il y avait pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale un aérodrome. Le monument rend hommage aux pilotes et aux résistants qui se sont sacrifiés pour libérer la France.
On this plain nearby villages of Nance and Bletterans, there was during the Second World War an airfield. The monument pays tribute to pilots and members of the resistance who sacrificed themselves to liberate France.
