The traditional cache basis on local folklores. You don't need to hang around the road while caching. Parking place can be found from the centrum, there is a short walk to the cache. On the right time of the year you can fill your stomach with berries and mushrooms.

Mannisten Teppo löysi pitkän poikamiehenä elon jälkeen emännän Turusta. Outo tuo emäntä olikin, noidaksi ja ennustajaksikin aikanaan haukuttu. Kyläläiset antoivat hänelle nimen " Prättäkitti" - kovaääninen, riitaisa ihminen.
Prättäkitti tunnetaan useista toteutuneista ennustuksistaan: Loimaan kirkon hän ennusti tuhoutuvan, kun vuosiluvussa on keppi ja kolme lenkkiä. Hän näki, kuinka ilman hevosia tullaan kulkemaan maan halki pitkin rautaisia teitä kuin vöitä ja yksi niistä teistä tulee kulkemaan Loimaankin halki!
Ei vain ennustuksiin jäänyt Prättäkitin voimat: nähtiimpä hänet seilaamassa myllynkivellä Loimijoella ja tiedetään, että häneltä on pyydetty apua hopeisen kynttelikön kadottua. Sen seurauksena hän muutti talon oman pojan sudeksi seitsemän vuoden ajaksi.
Lopulta ajan hengen mukaisesti myös Prättäkitti tuomittiin noidaksi. Hänet sidottiin myllynkiveen ja vieritettiin alas Loimijokeen. Kun hautajaisten aika myöhemmin koitti, painoi arkku kuin se olisi ollut täynnä myllynkiviä. Ei sitä hevosvoiminkaan saatu kiskottua mäen yli Perttulan hautausmaalle, joten Prättäkitti haudattiin Kurjenmäkeen suurenluonnon henkien seuraan. Kun viimeisiä multia oltiin heittämässä kummulle, arkku lennähti kuusen latvaan. Arkku kiskottiin alas ja avattiin. Väitetään vielä tänä päivänäkin, että silloin käärme luikerteli ulos arkusta.

The weird housewife of Teppo Manninen
Teppo Manninen was a bachelor until he finally found a housewife for himself from Turku. But it wasen't just a regular girl that he found, some says that she was a witch or fortune-teller. People started to say she as "Prättäkitti" - loud and issue-oriented person.
Prättäkitti is well known for her realized predictions: she was saying that the church of Loimaa will destroy when the year includes a stick and three loops. She also saw how people will travel without horses across the country; by using iron made roads, like belts. And one of those will come across the Loimaa too!
It was not only the predictions where her power was used: some has seen her sailing with the millstone in a Loimijoki. Also she has been asked to help find the person who stole the sliver candelabra. Because of that she change the houses' own boy as a wolf for seven years.
In the spirit of the time, also Prättäkitti was doomed as a witch. She was tied to millstone and rolled down to Loimijoki. When later comes the time of funeral, the chest was as heavy as it could be when it was filled with millstones. Even the horses couldn't drag the chest over the hill to the Perttula's cemetary so Prättäkitti need to bury on the Kurjenmäki. When the last dust was putting on the top of the grave the chest was flying to the top of the spruce. The chest was taken down and opened. Even today the stories tells that then the snake comes out of the chest.
