The cache is opposite the building entrance so you will have to venture into the tree's a bit. You can easily walk to the cache location from Abernethy guest house or you can drive, however you will need a 4x4 to get access. Once you have found the cache feel free to look around, there are ruins scattered all around.
Once you have found this cache head over to poppethead park (5 minute drive) to see an actual poppet head the mines around Cessnock used. There is also a great cache located in the park which requires you to count a little. GC10PT7
