Geocache Description:

The 4th of Wakkatoo's caches, this one will take you to a spot not easily seen from the main road but is accessable to all vehicles. Those familiar with my first three caches would know the type of container you are looking for - a 30ml black plastic screwtop container. This one, however is just a little different, I leave it to you to discover what that is.

There is no room for swaps and please bring a pen to sign the log.

Opened April 5, 1979, Cosgroves reservoir is a water storage dam now managed by central highlands water (CHW). It is a popular fishing spot, although be aware a seperate fishing licence (purchased through CHW) is required to fish here.

At GZ, there is a path heading downhill and into the bush. This is a fantastic starting spot to walk or ride the goldfields track all the way back to Creswick. The ride is mostly downhill and will take you past Koala Park and St Georges Lake where there are also a number of geocaches to be found. We ride this path often with the geokids and it becomes more enjoyable each time.
