Pārceltuve pāri Daugavai Līvāni-Vandāni (Dignāja) darbojas jau vairākus gadus desmitus. Laikā, kad upē nav ledus, tas ir taisnākais un ātrākais ceļš uz Daugavas otru, vai, kā saka paši līvānieši – „uz plašo Kurzemei”. Tuvākais tilts, pa kuru šķērsot Daugavu, ir tikai Jēkabpilī, kas ir vairākus desmitus km attālumā.

Pārceltuve veidota no veciem padomju armijas pontoniem. Tā spēj vienlaikus pārcelt pāri upei pat 5 automašīnas, pārcēlājs stāsta, ka vedis arī lielo tūristu autobusu Neoplan. Ja tūristiem šī ir atrakcija, tad vietējiem – ikdienas transporta līdzeklis. Uz Daugavas darbojas divas pārceltuves, otra atrodama tuvējā Dunavā.

Līvānu-Vandānu pārceltuves darba laiks – katru dienu no plkst.7 līdz plkst.21.00. cenas demokrātiskas. Iesakām pavizināties.

The ferry across the Daugava Līvāni-Vandāni (Dignaja) has been in operation for several decades. It is straightest and fastest route to other side of Daugava. The nearest bridge to cross the river Daugava is just in Jēkabpils, that are more than 20 km away from Līvāni.

The ferry made from an old Soviet army pontoons. It is capable of simultaneously transferred across the river to 5 cars. If this is an attraction for tourists, but for the locals it’s „a daily publicē transport”. On the Daugava river operates two ferries, the other can be found nearby in Dunava.

Ferry accross working hours - every day from 7.00 am until 21.00 pm. Democratic prices. Enjoy the travel over the Daugava.
