Geocache Description:

I am reactivating my challenge caches, but if the incorrect logging continues I will be forced to archive them.

READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY

  • If you log a find without following the logging requirements on the cache page your log will be permanently deleted.
  • If you log a find without meeting the qualifications for the challenge your log will be deleted, but you may relog it whenever you do qualify.
  • NOTE: Referencing Project GC as proof that you qualify DOES NOT meet the logging requirements for any of these caches. Project GC is not always right, and they have a disclaimer on their page stating that.

This is part of a series of challenge caches which are all about non-traditional cache types.  Some will be easy, and designed to introduce new cachers to these other cache types.  Others will be difficult for even the most experienced cachers.  Most will fall somewhere between these extremes.  Anybody may log any of the challenges, and may use new or old finds to qualify.  The only requirement is that you meet the challenge shown below.  The actual hides will be easy, the difficulty rating reflects the difficulty of the challenge.  The terrain rating is for the actual hide.

It's hard to believe that this is already the halfway mark in this series.  It seems to be going pretty fast.  This one is slightly challenging, but not too bad.  Please read the requirements carefully to be sure you qualify.

You may sign the log at any time, but you can only log the cache after you meet the requirements below.

To prove that you meet the requirements include a list in your log showing the 11 qualifying caches.  Your list must include the GC numbers, cache type and cache names for each of the caches.


REQUIREMENTS:

To qualify for this cache you must meet the requirements below:
  1. Using the first letter of the cache name you must spell the words "HALFWAY MARK" using non-traditional caches.
  2. You can use any non-traditional cache type in any comination except locationless and lab caches.
  3. Cache names starting in the word 'the' may not be used for this challenge.
  4. Cache names starting in the word "a" MAY be used for this challenge.
  5. You must have previously found and logged all of the caches you use to qualify.
BONUS SMILEY:  If you can fulfill this challenge using the same cache type for all 11 caches you may log this again for a BONUS SMILEY. [NO LONGER ALLOWED BY GROUNDSPEAK]
