There are two 'groups' of caches in the series that can be done from the Parking Waypoint:
1. GC4F7Z0, GC4F831, GC4F7YE, GC4E3XA
NB: After doing GC4E3XA, return via GC4F7YE to the Parking Waypoint
2. GC4FMRD, GC4FMQN, GC4FMRC, GC4F7ZF, GC4EA0N
NB: It is best to do this group in the listed order and retrace your steps back to the Parking Waypoint ... you are NOT advised to take a direct route between GC4E3XA and the Parking Waypoint (CO has done this, but not in tick season).
There are also some other accessible caches in this area.
The Gnome Hunters
This series pays tribute to cachers who have completed the Serpentine Gnomes series and celebrates some of the great logs written by said Gnome Hunters.
Chwiliwr
Chwiliwr on Serpentine Gnomes 6: "This was the hardest one of the Gnomes to get to and leave. All choices seemed bad ...".
hehe, you neatly encapsulated my intent with respect to Gnomes 6 Chwiliwr ... I couldn't have expressed it any better.
The Cache
All of the choices for getting to or leaving this cache might look bad as well ... the terrain rating is in the range 3 to 4.5, depending on the choice you make.
In tick season, the only sensible choice is via Gnome Hunters: .K.B. and returning the same way.
Attempting to traverse directly between this cache and Gnome Hunters: Mickeydv is NOT recommended ... especially not in tick season! But it is a bit of an adventure ... and I'd say "go for it" if you like traversing terrain that takes 25 minutes to travel 70 metres! And if that is your thing, then a better idea is to go via Grub Kelp (GC47VA4) for an even more adventurous experience!
Interesting views from hereabouts. You are looking for a bison tube.
