This cache is located near Tulip 13

Tulip is the term used to describe the representation of road directions and route to be travelled in a Co-Drivers road book, so that they are able to advise the driver of what to expect on the road ahead. In a special stage a little red arrow is placed at the side of the track approaching a Tulip where there may be a tight turn or several possible options for road choice.

This point is also the start of the long track down the back fence line however for this rally the entire length of this track was not used.

This stage was Special Stage 2 and was run on the 2nd March and had a competitive distance of 16.03kms. As it turned out it was quite an eventful stage with 2 major crashes occurring. The first was Welsh driver Elfyn Evans who came unstuck about 10kms into the stage. An interview containing footage of the crash can be found at Evans Rollover.

Later in the day a Bathurst driver, Leigh Gotch came unstuck on the infamous Mineshaft about, 13.41kms into the stage. Footage of his traverse of the Mineshaft is at Gotch Rollover.

Jusojara, Diamantina Stars, Delta Response Team and Buzz701 were present and assisted with hiding this cache and will log a find once the First To Find after publication has logged their find.
