Geocache Description:

This area contains an extensive trail system, and a former railroad bed. The trails are well marked and kept up by the local Boy Scouts. It will take about 20 minutes to walk to the cache. The cache is in a clear rubbermaid container.

Foster’s Pond - 190 acres of public conservation land, with a dusk to dawn curfew. Public access and parking can be found by taking Nashua Rd to the Nashua Road Recreation Complex. There are 2 parking lots.

From the parking lot you can take the Pond East Trail on the right marked in Yellow, or you can take the Nancy Johnson Trail on the left marked in Blue. The Pond East Trail and the Nancy Johnson Trail join on the back side of the pond. There's a lot of water in the area, and many small brooks, but you should be able to keep your feet dry. Beware of the black flies in spring! More information on the area can be found in a booklet called "Walking in Windham", available at the Windham library.
