Party in the woods!
Please stay tuned as there might be some minor changes due to
responses I hope to get!
What to expect...
- Lots of fellow cachers (I hope)
- BBQ and a fire
- Chats
- A cache for children in the late afternoon
- A cache for adults in late afternoon
- Maybe a special night cache (taking not too long)? Anyone
interested?
Where is it?
The place is located next to the Wiesbadener Kreuz, where the A3
crosses the A66 in the area of Wiesbaden/Frankfurt. It's a barbecue
site in the woods but near a road. Exact location:
N 50 04.760
E 8 24.675
When does it take place?
Saturday, May 25th 2002. I think we'll start at 4pm (Anyone
interested in starting earlier?)
What should I bring?
- camping seats
- a camping table
- food and drinks
- a torch, candles
- all the other things you bring to a barbecue
- someone could bring a second barbecue/grill?
What will be there?
- basic food
- basic baverages
- one barbecue and coal, tools
Accomodation?
:-) Anyone who has no place to go later in the evening can go
for the Geocache "Nightshift" in the second part of the night
:-)
There of course is the possibility to bring a sleeping bag, a
tent, maybe both. It is not really allowed to put up a tent but I
think it's not forbidden either... And there are some hotels nearby
(maybe 1-2km) to walk - for all those who think they can't drive
anymore. I'll provide the coordinates and you just follow your GPS
:-)
