Welcome to Voak Cemetery. I stumble upon this place a few summers ago when my wife and I were doing genealogy research is a cemetery down the road. An old country cemetery like this is always a peaceful place to visit.
This is now an association cemetery, well maintained and still used for burials today. For more than a century it has served the settlement of Voak, once centered on the Methodist church and public school located at the crossroads. The cemetery may have gotten its start as a burial ground for the numerous Voak families, but soon was used by many other families in the area.
Please only search for this cache during daylight times. The cache is not located on or near any stones. My 7 year old daughter hid this one all by herself. It shouldn’t be too difficult.
