Arboretum Traditional Geocache

A great place for garden enthusiasts, arborists, hikers and nature lovers. Dogs allowed on-leash.

Directions to the Arboretum and Map of the Arboretum 2008: New main entrance - on College Ave East near Victoria Rd You can still park at the old entrance via Arboretum Rd (off of East Ring Rd N43 32.140 W80 13.219) but the walk will be longer -- it's a nice walk through the park.

If you want to spend some time on the trails and in the gardens, pick up an Arboretum Map at the kiosk at the parking lot. No entrance fees or parking fees (yeah!).

Follow the Gosling Wildlife Gardens trail, past the JC Taylor Nature Centre. Be sure to see all 5 stations of the Gosling Wildlife Gardens (it’s a quick visit).

Look for a Lock & Lock container at the back of garden 4, under an evergreen.

Watch out for the nearby groundhog hole. Don't step in it.

WINTER: The cache is very difficult to get to and find if there's snow on the ground. Box could be frozen in.
