Oliveira milenar - Ancient olive tree
Não se sabe a idade exacta desta oliveira, mas pelo que tenho pesquisado e feito medidas à Oliveira, atrevo-me a dizer que esta e outra Oliveira que se encontra proxima desta, têm 2000 anos.

Esta oliveira tem um diâmetro de 2,80 metros; tem uma circunferência de 9 metros e podem facilmente entrar no meio dela, se forem magros podem atravessar de um lado ao outro. Mas não é só esta oliveira, a alguns metros desta existe outra com +/- 2000 e nesta zona existe outras oliveiras com mais de 1000 anos. Com esta cache pretendo dar a conhecer uma das mais velhas oliveiras numa pequena aldeia, não vou dizer que é a mais velha de Portugal ou da Europa, só especialistas podem confirmar isso. A Oliveira situa-se numa pequena aldeia chamada de Carrascal, acho uma pena que numa pequena aldeia exista uma Oliveira com milhares de anos e não seja reconhecida. Esta Oliveira deve ter muitas histórias para contar, já imaginaram se a Oliveira pudesse contar o que já viu ou sofreu??? Nota: O terreno está um bocado ao abandono, mas tem dono. O dono apenas não cuida do terreno nem das oliveiras. A Oliveira não se encontra dentro de nenhum terreno privado, está junto a um caminho de fácil acesso. A cache não se encontra muito longe da Oliveira, para chegar a ela tem que ir ás coordenadas iniciais e fazer um pequeno desafio para obter as coordenadas da cache final.
