Peruskätkö Jokisuunkarran kauniissa maastossa. Basic cache in the beautiful nature of Jokisuunkarra.
Kätkön lähistölle saapuessasi voit havaita kesämökin rauniot. Mökin rakensi vuonna 1952 merikapteeni ja kaphoornari Matti Lappalainen perheineen. Tontti oli heillä vuokralla valtiolta 50 vuotta. Tämän jälkeen kiinteistö oli hetken myös lintuharrastajien tukikohtana. Kun tontti palautui valtiolle, vanha ja huonokuntoinen mökki purettiin.
Raunioiden lähellä on myös Unajan lintutorni, Puucee ja grillipaikka, joten jos kätköillessä alkaa hiukoa, kannataa ottaa vaikka kunnon kyljys mukaan!

When you arrive at the cache location, you can see the ruins of an old summer cottage nearby. The cottage was built in 1952 by a captain and a cap-horner Matti Lappalainen and his family. The land was rented from the government for 50 years. After this the property was in bird-watchers use for a while. When the land was returned to the government, the deteriorated cottage was demolished.
Near the ruins are also located the bird-watching tower of Unaja, a toilet and a good place for grilling. So if you get hungry whilst caching, you should take decent steak along with you!
NOTE! Don't touch the bird-houses. You won,t find the cache in any of them.
