Times Square Webcam Webcam Cache

This cache requires a team effort.

What you will need:

• A GPS
• A friend at his/her computer with an internet connection.
• A mobile phone or money/calling card for the pay phones nearby.

Optional Items:

• Signs, Banners, or Flags
• Travel Bugs
• Other unique items

How to find and log this webcam cache:

• Go to the coordinates of this cache.
  
• The coordinates get you in the general area of the cache. They are not exact coordinates telling you where you should stand. You, with the help of your friend, will need to hunt for this cache.
• Call your friend and have them go to this image, http://images.earthcam.com/ec_metros/ourcams/fridays.jpg. This images does not auto-refresh. They must click REFRESH in thier browser to update the picture.
• If that page itsn't working go to this page at http://www.earthcam.com/usa/newyork/timessquare/ and click on CAM 4, and then Enlarge Image. Only the enlarged image version is able to be right clicked upon and saved to the hard drive.
• Let your friend guide you as to where to stand for the best picture then...
• Smile for the camera and wait for an update! (this webcam updates a couple times a minute)
• When your friend sees a good webcam picture, have them right click on the webcam picture and save the image to their hard drive.
• Then have them email you a copy of the saved file so that...
• When you make your Webcam Photo Taken entry you can include the picture in the log entry.
• Webcam Photo Taken logs without proper pictures will be deleted.

Rulez:

• 1 - Upload a photo taken by this webcamera. Slightly photoshopped photos are allowed. Photos taken by other nearby webcameras are not allowed.
• B - Log this cache as Webcam Photo Taken only once for the life of this cache. If you visit this cache again you can upload the additional photos to your original log entry or make a new Write Note entry. But, please do not log multiple finds for this cache.
