Geocache Description:

A short descent to a remote shoreline. Sometimes its worth following your instincts and see where the path takes you, often the path itself is worth more than the destination but I believe in this case both live up to expectations. Bring a friend, be careful of slippery rocks, and use the ropes! Great spot for a picnic when you reach the bottom.

Coordinates may be slightly off as they were taken with an iPhone - follow the description below if unsure.

Take bus number 9 to Cape D'Aguilar roundabout.

There are two ways to approach this cache by land, neither of which are official trails (and cannot be seen on open street/cycle map). They both have ropes for the harder sections, but these are still relatively gradual slopes rather than actual climbs-no equipment needed. My personal recommendation is to go down T1 then return via T2.

T1 is a harder trail involving steeper sections/slippery rocks - a pipe runs along the path (off the edge, below you to the right) at the point you should turn onto the trail. You will know you are going the right way if you come out onto a very large rock. Go to the left over another rock and drop down onto the trail, it should be a clear descent from here.

T2 is easier (but still requires hands), following the edge of a drainage channel down the quarry (stay on the right hand side, looking inland) - you will need to go through the hole in the fence at R1 to enter/exit the quarry. R2 is the base of the drainage channel path and you should continue down to the beach via the road.

Cache is a small quad-lock container with notepad and pen. There is room for TBs etc.
