Welcome to Ernestinovo, Slavonian village known for permanently exposed carvings. Driving by road through this village you can see many of the sculptures in front of the houses. All of that is made by artists in sculptural colony.
Sculptural colony Ernestinovo is traditional sculpture colony. Their artists are regular, ordinary people that make sculptures mostly from wood. Every year this artist colony workshop is held in the Sculpture Park in Ernestinovo. Along with cyprus artist that are making art from wood there are also included other painters from the colony.
When the sculptures are made they are often donated to village Ernestinovo to be exposed through years as many others before them.
