It is not a typical wherigo. It is spread out across a large distance, and encourages cooperative efforts between fellow geocachers.Though it is not required, one person can travel to all three stages of this wherigo.
How this works...
Someone in New York will need to play the NY cartridge. At the end of the cartridge they will get a password to pass on to the California team member. Then, the California team member will need to play the California cartridge. At the end they will recieve a password to pass on to the Maryland team member. The Maryland team member will take that password, play the Maryland cartridge and then find the final geocache. Everyone that participates whether you are in New York, California, or Maryland can log this cache. It is a team effort. Each cartridge has 4 zones. The first zone will ask you for your password. Second and third will have trivia questions about the movie Zombieland. (Local cachers in Maryland LOVE zombies!). The final zone will give you the password for the next state, unless you are at the Maryland stage it will take you to the final cache.
There are free Wherigo players available for Androids and iPhones.
Yes, there are rules...
1. Everyone that participates is allowed to log, but not until the FINAL MARYLAND cache is found.
2. Everyone should make a "team name" for their multi-state group.
3. This is all done on the honor code. Please, do not give your password to anyone else in your state.
4. Not required, but would be nice. When you start the adventure please log a note on the cache page with your "team name" and the members of that team. .
