Butte des Châtaigniers

Autrefois carrière de gypse, puis décharge publique, cette butte présente actuellement une pente assez raide et aride côté Paris. Ce site d'où la vue sur Paris est imprenable, est l'un des points culminants de l'Ile de France. Les réaménagements sont terminés, la butte offre un parc naturel de promenade avec des sentiers, escaliers et terrasses en bois, petites forêts... Il reste ouvert 24h/24.
On peut y accéder actuellement:
1) Accès principal depuis le bas coté Est (coté Centre commercial et piscine) par un sentier, des marches et une pente bien dégagé (T1).
2) Depuis le bas coté West (T2).
3) Accès rapide depuis le haut, mais le parking est plus difficile (T3). On suit alors une petite route puis un sentier horizontal.

A gypsum quarry in the past, and after a dump. This hill has currently a steep and barren slope side Paris. From the top, the view over Paris is amazing, and it's one of the hightest points of "Ile de France". It's now a natural park with trails, wooden stairs and terraces, small forests ... It's remain open 24h/24.
It's now possible to get there:
1) First access, from the bottom, Est side (between commercial center and swimming pool), by a trail, steps and slope without any trees (T1).
2) From the bottom, West side (T2).
3) Quick access from the top (T3), but it's more difficult to Park. By a small road and an horizontal path on your right.
