The second cache in Saudi Arabia was placed on 4 Mar 2001. The Cange family; Jeff, Pam, Rachel (9), Robert (8), and Mike Sciocchetti planted a cache in the Wahba Crater. This two km diameter, 700 ft deep crater is located 180 km north east of Taif and 75 km north of the of the Jeddah-Riyadh road.

CRATERCACHE is located at the bottom of Wahba Crater enter the crater just above the Oasis, the trail is fairly easy to follow. Wear gloves and good climbing boots and take your time, (I took a tumble on the way down, luckily the only damage was a thorn in the heel of my hand, and constant ribbing from my companions) it took us about two hours to make it to the bottom.

Follow your GPS to the coordinates and look for a tall stack of rocks, climb to the first large horizontal crevice (salt pan side) and look in the crevice beneath a few smaller stones. The cache is in a green wooden decorated box.
