Le
premier phare du Cap Ferret fut construit en 1840. Il était tout blanc
et a été dynamité en 1944.
Le phare actuel, reconnaissable à sa couleur blanche et rouge, fut
terminé en 1947 et inauguré le 7 août 1949. Il n'a pas cessé son
service depuis et peut être visité.
Il est situé au centre d'un espace de 6 ha dont le tour a été aménagé
en promenade accessible 24h/24. Ce chemin, qui vous sera indiqué lors
de la recherche de la cache, vous permet d'avoir des vues différentes
sur le phare et vous conduit jusqu'au village ostréicole.
Les troupes d'occupation allemandes ont occupé le site à partir de
1940 et il en subsiste un blockhaus que des travaux d'aménagement
récents ont mis en évidence. De type "622", ce bâtiment comprend deux
salles et faisait partie du dispositif du "mur de l'atlantique". Il
était peint en trompe l'œil et dissimulé sous une cabane en bois. Le
bunker n'est accessible qu'aux heures d'ouverture de l'enceinte.

Il vous suffira
d'un peu d'observation pour obtenir les coordonnées exactes :

L'entrée du phare se trouve sur la place S_ _ _ _ _ _ V _ _ _ _ _ _ .
En remplaçant (toutes) les lettres des deux noms par leur valeur
suivant la règle A=1, B=2, C=3 …
puis
en en faisant la somme, vous obtiendrez successivement deux nombres : A = _ _
et B = _ _.

Le portail de l'enceinte comporte une ou plusieurs étoiles.
Comptez le nombre d'étoiles C = _
Comptez le nombre de branches de l'étoile D = _
Pour atteindre la cache, il vous suffit de reconstituer les valeurs

La cache est
située à l'extérieur de l'enceinte du phare et reste donc accessible
24h/24 toute l'année.
En raison
de la très forte fréquentation des lieux, il est impératif d'être
TRES DISCRET pour assurer la survie de la cache.

The
first lighthouse of Cap Ferret was built in 1840. It was quite
white and was blown up in 1944.
The current lighthouse, recognizable with its white and red
colors, was rebuilt in 1947 and inaugurated on August 7th, 1949.
It did not stop its service since this date and can be visited.
It is situated in the center of a space of 6 ha surrounded by a
path accessible 24 hours/7 days. This path, which will be
indicated to you during the search of the cache, allows you to
have different views on the lighthouse and leads you up to the
oyster village.
The german troops occupied the site from 1940 and a bunker has
been recently highlighted by works. Of type " 622 ", this building
includes two rooms and was a part of the "Atlantic wall". It was
painted in trompe-l'œil style and hidden under a wooden hut. The
bunker is accessible only during the opening hours.

observation will be enough to you to obtain the exact coordinates

long.

of the very numerous muggles in that place, it is imperative to
be VERY DISCREET to insure the survival of the cache.

"VERT" / Why "VERT" ?
[FR] Ma première cache posée (GC3VHY2)
était une boîte verte, avec un stylo vert, un log book vert et des
objets d'échange verts. Ainsi est née l'idée de placer les caches
qui ont suivi sous le signe du "VERT" et de proposer un challenge
consistant à y déposer de préférence des objets "VERTs". Ce
challenge ne peut malheureusement pas concerner les caches de
taille nano ou micro.
[EN] My first geocache ( GC3VHY2) was a
green box, with a green pen, a green log book and green items for
exchange. So was born the idea to place the caches which followed
under the sign of the "VERT" ("GREEN" in French) and to propose a
challenge consisting in depositing there rather "VERT" objects.
This challenge cannot unfortunately concern the caches in nano or
micro size.
