This was going to be the Paudash cache (or something similar) but I decided to name it in memory of the family that owned the restaurant, Esso gas bar, & repair garage that used to stand on the vacant lot you now see. It was a popular place, & the owners wonderful people, but fell victim to the continuous government regulations, & requirements for that type of operation. The building beside the lake was a store for many many years, but has been closed for some time & seems to be in mid-renovation. There was at one time a couple of lumber mills in this area. All long gone but still remembered by many.
