Hunt Tor stands at the head of the Rattlebrook and in a sort of bog (now diminished as a track drains much of the water). Could this have been the 'Stenga Tor' the first Dartmoor Forest perambulators took as a bound mark? You should not need to enter a Military Range to find this cache but if you plan a route to do so, check the Firing timetable first - https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/dartmoor-firing-programme Come prepared for any kind of weather. This cache has been placed with the kind permission of the Dartmoor National Park Authority in accordance with their new Geocaching Guidelines - http://www.dartmoor-npa.gov.uk/visiting/vi-enjoyingdartmoor/geocaching (There is an Open Cache near here also)
