Caché dans la végétation dort un édifice que vous ne pourrez qu’entre apercevoir au début: le château de Montauban. De simple ferme, ce bâtiment a été transformé au fil des ans en métairie de vigne, en maison de campagne et enfin en château en 1880. Entre les branches vous pourrez imaginer la fière demeure, plus facile à observer en hiver lorsque toutes les feuilles sont tombées. Mais en continuant sur le chemin vous finirez par voir un peu du château et vous aurez une vue imprenable sur le paysage environnant.

From a simple farm, this construction was transformed over the years into a vine farm, a country house and finally into a castle in 1880. Between the branches you can imagine the proud mansion, easier to observe in winter, when all the leaves have fallen. But as you follow the path you will see a little more of the castle, as well as a great view of the surrounding landscape.
ATTENTION ! Sur la route à un croisement il est indiqué "ROUTE BARREE" ceci fait référence à la Rue de Chavigny, mais pour aller à la cache il faut emprunter le Chemin de Ludres qui lui est praticable.
CAUTION! On the way there is a panel "ROUTE BARREE" meaning that the road is cut, but that is not for the road that you need to take to go to the parking lot and to the cache. In fact it is the road Route de Chavigny that is cut, not the Chemin de Ludres that you have to use to go to the cache.
