The tower is thought to be the youngest part of the church built in the 14th century and the aisles are 13th century. The buttresses are modern and were added in the 1970s as the church was in danger of collapsing. It has wood furnishings and brick floor, there are boxed pews. There is also a collection of medieval glass in the west window. A Millennium project for the church was new glass in the east window and depicts John the Baptist baptising Christ.
