Tämän kätkön tarkoituksena on esitellä yksi Oulun kaupungin lukuisista ja suurimmista venesatamista. Satamassa on 253 venepaikkaa sekä talvisäilytysmahdollisuus 40 veneelle. Paikka kuhisee kesäaikaan veneilijöitä sekä talviviikonloppuisin hiihtäjiä ja moottorikelkkailijoita, joten jästivaara on kätköpaikalla kohtuullisen suuri. Venesatamasta lähtee polku kohti Letonniemen luonnonsuojelualuetta, joka on osa Natura 2000 -verkostoa. Venevalkaman viereen jää myös Rajahaudan uimaranta.
Venesataman läheisyydessä on parkkipaikka, joka helpottaa autolla paikalle pääsyä.
There are 253 berth places at the Rajahauta boat harbor during the summer season. During the winter there are 40 places for boats for winter docking. In the summer there is lots of traffic in the harbor by the sailors but it is also a very popular place for muggles during the winter time as it is an access point to the open ice for skiers and snowmobile riders. From the Rajahauta harbor you can also start a hike through the Letonniemi nature protection area (which is part of Natura 2000 network). Near the harbor is also a swimming beach – so after a hike you can go for a swim.
