According to letterboxing.org, "letterboxing is an intriguing pastime combining navigational skills" (GPS) "and rubber stamp artistry" (my stamp is in the cache) "in a charming treasure hunt style outdoor quest." Sounds just like geocaching!! And thus, my letterbox hybrid cache.
If you do letterboxing, "finders make an imprint of the letterbox's stamp on their personal log book, and leave an imprint of their personal stamp on the letterbox's logbook." If you don't do letterboxing, just place your "X" and the date in the log.
This cache is in a hidden area, not very frequented, and only open 8am till dark. Once you park, it is along an access road heading to the lake, shortish hike required (get the 1st stage of Chigger Ridge Multi first before heading here). There is a pencil and some swag in the cache. Please leave the stamp and ink pad in the cache!
Congrats to rbgris for FTF!!
