Kuivatelakka - Drydock Multi-cache

Helppo kaksiosainen laskumultikätkö.

An easy two-stage multi-cache.

Suomenlinnan telakka on yksi maailman vanhimpia edelleen käytössä olevia allastelakoita. Laiva-arkkitehti F. H. af Chapmanin johdolla täällä rakennettiin Ruotsin saaristolaivaston aluksia jo 1760-luvulla. Nykyään telakalla lähinnä kunnostetaan perinnelaivoja.

Multin alkupisteeltä löytyy hieno näköalapaikka ja kolme rinnakkaista tietotaulua. Kävijöitä kannustetaan tutustumaan tietotaulujen teksteihin, koska niissä kerrotaan lisää telakan historiasta.

Kahden tietotaulun vasemmassa yläkulmassa on nelinumeroinen luku. Vasemmalta oikealle nämä luvut ovat A ja B.

Varsinaisen kätkön paikka on melkein näköetäisyyden päässä, mutta suorin reitti ei tulle kyseeseen. Reilusti sateelta suojassa olevan purkin koordinaatit ovat N 60° 08.[A-935] E 024° 58.[B-1025].

Loppupisteellä riittää irtonaisen näköesteen siirtäminen Terrain-arvon viittaamalta korkeudelta. Lisävihje on tarkoituksella varsin paljastava. Jätäthän piilon naamioinnin mahdollisimman tukevasti paikalleen.

Suomenlinna Dock is one of the oldest dry docks in the world still in use. The ships of the Swedish Coastal Fleet were built here in the 1760s under the supervision of the naval architect F. H. af Chapman. Nowadays the dock is used to restore old wooden ships.

At the starting point of this multi-cache there's a remarkable view as well as three parallel information boards. The visitors are encouraged to read the texts at the boards because they'll tell more about the history of the dock.

Two of the boards are labeled with a four-figure number in their upper left corner. From the left, let these numbers be A and B, respectively.

The location of the actual geocache is almost within a visible distance from the starting point. The most straightforward route is not, though, recommendable. The location of the cache well protected from the rain is N 60° 08.[A-935] E 024° 58.[B-1025].

At the cache site all you need to do is to remove the loose camouflage at a height the Terrain value suggests. The encrypted hint is purposely very accurate. Please return the camouflage as well as possible.
