Elle est une source de richesses au niveau géomorphologique (Science du Relief).
Elle se decoupe en 4 parties :
En A : Brèches
Les brèches sont constituées de conglomérats formés par des blocs déplacés et cimentés naturellement, âgées d'environ 25 à 33 millions d'années.
En B : Coulée de Solifluxion
Il s'agit d'un glissement sur un versant, de la partie superficielle du sol gorgée d'eau datant des périodes froides du Quaternaire (moins de 1,86 million d'années).
En C : Dune Fossile
C'est une accumulation de sables calcaires jaunes,recouverts d'une croute d'1cm d'épaisseur , d'age Quaternaire (Derniere glaciation : -80 000 à -17 000 ans).
La direction Nord-Sud des lits sableux correspond aux vents dominants. A l'époque , le niveau de la mer était beaucoup plus bas.
En D : Versant Argileux
Composé d'un versant argile aquitanienne (25 à 28 millions d'années) d'arrière plage est affecté par de nombreuses ravine dues à l'écoulement des eaux superficielles continentales.
Ces dernières sont plus ou moins comblées par les sables soufflés par les vents.

1 - PHOTO Vous pouvez vous prendre vous ou votre G.P.S. en photo devant la plage (optionnel).
2 - QUESTIONS Pour se conformer aux nouvelles directives éducatives pour les Earthcaches vous devez répondre aux questions suivantes en faisant quelques recherches, en allant au point R1 (Toutes les réponses sont sur ce panneau d'information). It is a source of wealth geomorphological (Science of Relief)
It is subdivided in four parts:
In A: Breach
The breaches are composed of conglomerates formed by cement blocks and moved naturally aged about 25 to 33 million years.
In B: Casting Soliflucted
It is about a sliding on a hillside, about a superficial part of the ground full of water dating cold periods of the Quaternary (less than 1,86 million years).
C: Dune Fossil
It is an accumulation of yellow calcareous sands, covered with a crust of 1cm thick, of Quaternary age (Last Ice Age: -80 000 to -17 000 years).
North-South direction of the sandy beds corresponds to the prevailing winds. At the time, the sea level was much lower.
D: Versant Clay
Composed of a slope Aquitanian clay (25 to 28 million years) of back beach is affected by many gully due to the continental surface water run-off.
These last are more or less filled by the sands blown by the wind.
