Geocache Description:

This hide is a tribute to jamlois's Walk in the Park, which wasn't exactly a walk in the park.  This one is around a mile hike to the bottom of Cranberry Lake Preserve, leading you to (about) the coordinates claimed by the original cache.

It's fun to see the difference that a few decimal points can have on a GPS location.  This cache is hidden in Cranberry Lake Preserve, though if you adjust a few points you just might end up at Kensico Dam.  Nothing wrong with that, other than the fact that you won't find this cache!

My original walk in the park with BBTosKar was actually quite fun, a late-night new-year's-eve dash in a preserve that I had never been to before.  The fact that the search ended in a DNF really didn't put a damper on the enjoyment, because the location we found at GZ was actually a great spot for a cache.  So now that the original has officially been archived, we figured there was no better spot to place our next cache.

The cache is a regular sized tupperware containing the standard swag, plus a FTF prize of an unactivated trackable. You'll find it just off the Red Trail, in a nice set of rocks. Keep in mind that if you climb the big hill (and scale the chain link fence), you'll be on restricted DEC property... so don't do that!

This is Team Trash's second hide, hope you enjoy it. Congrats to grschmid for the FTF, beating out the crowds who I am sure are just intimidated by the hike!
