This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breath taking view. It's a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. More Information can be found at the SideTracked Website

About the cliff railway


Brignorth has a wonderful cliff railway cut into the sandstone. It is the steepest and the shortest one in England. It used to be operated by water but now it has been converted to electric. There is a fee of 90p for a return trip but you do not have to use it as there are other means of getting up to High town. There was a guy there who took great delight in showing us some historic points of the town. The original set of steps are still here and still in great order, the donkeys originally used them to bring the goods off the ships and take them up to High town. We have place 4 magnetic nanos around the area town just to show you a few points of interest. There is not room for anything else but a log in the caches so please bring your own writting impliment. You have been warned these are MICRO caches so please do not do them and then moan about them being micros later. The cliff railway is not open all the time but the cache is accesable 24/7
