This is one of four virtual caches we noted in our recent visit to
Cyprus. They all have something in common, once you have found them
all and have worked out the common factor e-mail me and I'll send
you a star!
We found this cache on a walk from the taverna "Vasilias
Nikoklia Inn" where we were staying. It's off the main road into
the mountains. You can drive down to it but I would recommend
leaving the car by the roadside and walking across the valley, it's
not too far.
The village was deserted during the Turkish invasion when the
predominantly Turkish population were forcibly ejected. Today it's
a rather spooky place populated only by goats.
The cache is one of a number of similar structures you will pass
when walking through the village.
This cache was originally placed by The Hornet, but he has asked
me to maintain it for him as he is longer longer able to. Enjoy
