Kätkö
Kätkö sijaitsee jästivilkkaalla paikalla, joten varovaisuutta purkkia hakiessa, jottei purkki katoa. Kätkö kannattaakin ehkä hakea iltasella tai yöaikaan. Museon henkilökunta on tietoinen kätköstä ja kätkölle on heidän lupansa. Osoitetaan, että kätköilijät ovat tämän luottamuksen arvoisia. Mitään ei ole tarpeen siirtää, eikä purkaa kätkön löytämiseksi.
Tampereen Taidemuseo
Tampereen taidemuseo aloitti toimintansa vuonna 1931. Tampereen taidemuseon kokoelmiin kuuluu noin 7 000 taideteosta suunnilleen 670 taiteilijalta. Taideteoksia on useiden vuosisatojen ajalta, mutta pääasiassa kokoelma muodostuu 1900-luvun taiteesta.
Tampereen taidemuseon ylläpitäjä oli aiemmin Tampereen taideyhdistys mutta vuonna 1985 museo siirtyi kaupungin omistukseen, joskin yhdistys tukee edelleen sen toimintaa, samoin Tampereen taidemuseon ystävät ry.
Museon aukioloajat
Tampereen taidemuseo on avoinna tiistaista perjantaihin klo 9 - 17 ja lauantaista sunnuntaihin klo 10 - 18. Tarkemmat aukioloaikatiedot ja sisäänpääsymaksut löytyvät täältä.
Museorakennus
Taidemuseo toimii C.L. Engelin suunnittelemassa entisessä viljamakasiinirakennuksessa, joka valmistui vuonna 1838 Makasiini muutettiin museokäyttöön 1930-luvulla. Hilja Gestrinin tekemät muutospiirustukset ovat vuodelta 1931. Vuosina 1982–1984 rakennukseen lisättiin maanalainen kerros ja museotekniikka nykyaikaistettiin.

Muumilaakso
Muumilaakso sijaitsi Tampereen taidemuseossa lokakuuhun 2016 asti, jolloin Muumilaakso muutti Tampere-taloon.

About the cache
Cache is located on a muggle-rich area, so be careful that you won't spoil the cache to muggles. Best time to log the cache is late in the evening or at night. Staff of the museum is aware of the cache and the cache has permission from them. Let's show that the geocachers are decent folk and the cache can stay in place. There is no need to move or open anything to find the cache.
Tampere art museum
Tampere art museum was founded in 1931. The collections of the museum include almost 7000 pieces of art from approximately 670 artists. The main body of collection is formed by the art from the 20th century, but there are older pieces in the collection, too.
Earlier the museum was upkept by the Art association of Tampere, but in 1985 the museum transferred under the administration of city of Tampere. However, the foundation still supports the museum. The museum is also supported by the association of art lovers Tampere.
Opening hours
The museum is open from Tuesday to Friday 9 am. to 5 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays the museum is open from 10 am. to 6 pm. For more information on opening hours and admission fees, please refer to this page.
The building
The building is old grain warehouse which was designed by C.L Engel and was finished 1838. The warehouse was renovated for museum purposes in 1930's. During the years 1982 to 1984 the underground floor was added and the house infrastructure was renewed.
Moomin valley
Moomin valley used to be located in Tampereen taidemuseo, but it was moved to Tampere-talo at the end of October 2016.
