!!! Auf der Strecke gab es einen Erdrutsch, in Rücksprache mit den letzten Loggern sind die Posten aber trotzdem zugänglich und auch vor Ort (inkl. Wegweiser); ok, 1-2 mal muss man vielleicht den Verstand einschalten und einen kleinen "Versatz" im Weg umgehen, in dem man 2-3 Meter seitlich vom offiziellen Weg ausweicht.

Einleitung
Der Weinweg wurde im Jahr 2007 eröffnet und führt von Martigny bis nach Leuk. Dieser Multi ist eine abgespeckte Version, startet in St. Léonard und folgt dem Weinweg bis nach Leuk.
Routenplanung
Informationen zur Route findet man auf www.weinweg.ch oder auch auf www.wanderland.ch (Regionale Route Nr. 36). Wie lange man für den Cache braucht? Hartgesottene Cacher können diesen Multi in einem Tag absolvieren. Wer es gemütlich nehmen, die Gegend geniessen und vielleicht noch den ein oder anderen Cache abseits vom Weinweg heben will, dem empfehle ich, 2 Tage einzuplanen. Ideal ist: erster Tag St. Léonard bis Sierre und zweiter Tag Sierre bis Leuk.
Der Weinweg lässt sich sehr gut im Frühling oder späteren Herbst (am besten nach der Weinlese) absolvieren. Nach längeren Schönwetterperioden ist der Weg oft auch im Winter begehbar. Im Sommer ist dieser Weg nicht zu empfehlen, da es fast keine schattigen Stellen gibt, die Hitze unerträglich wird und entlang vom Weg kaum Wasserstellen zum Nachfüllen der Trinkflasche vorliegen.

Beim Rechnen der Koordinaten bedeutet ein „//“ eine neue Ziffer. „QS“ ist die einstellige (iterative) Quersumme und dient nur zur Kontrolle. Bei mehrstelligen Antworten gibt es für jede einzelne Ziffer eine eigene „Variable“ (1a, 1b, 1c,...).

Introduction
The “Weinweg” was opened in 2007 and runs from Martigny to Leuk. This multi is a shortened version, it starts in St. Léonard and follows the “Weinweg” to Leuk.
Route planning
Route information can be found on www.weinweg.ch or on www.wanderland.ch (Regionale Route 36). How long it takes for the cache? Crazy Cachers would do this multi in one day. Those who take it comfortably, enjoy the area and maybe even try to lift one or the other cache away from the Weinweg, I recommend that you make it in 2 days. Ideally, first day from St. Léonard to Sierre and second day from Sierre to Leuk.
The best period to make this multi is during spring or late autumn. In summer, this multi is not recommended, because there is almost no shade, it becomes very hot, and along the way there are no water stations to refill the bottle.
