When the original Fizzy Challenge was published in 2007 by Kealia the Fizzy was considered to be the ultimate challenge. It generated significant enthusiasm amongst geocachers who were inclined toward particularly difficult quests! Since that time the proliferation of published caches and a tendency toward the inflation of certain cache D/T ratings has now made completion of the Fizzy grid a fairly easy geocaching objective. Today some cachers who are captivated by this challenge complete the Fizzy grid within a few months after they start cache-finding. Certain cachers become serious "star chasers" and thrive by working continuously on this magical matrix, even after having completing it once or several times. In fact, by the date this challenge was published several cachers have completed each cell of the Fizzy grid as many as 25 to 30 times! Wow!! And recently a number of challenge caches have been published that require completion of each matrix cell multiple times--these provide a modicum of continued challenge to those having strong continuing interests in the Fizzy concept. Double and Triple and Quadruple Fizzy challenges are now available for those in the geocaching community who love this special component of our geocaching diversity.
To complete the requirements of this challenge, each cell of your Fizzy matrix must show a minimum of four cache finds in it. No date restrictions apply, so all of your previous cache finds are eligible for this Quad Fizzy Challenge. My current grid is shown here, as an example of what is required.

For obvious reasons, the overall Difficulty/Terrain rating for this challenge is 5.0/5.0. But the D/T for actually accessing and finding the cache is 2.0/1.5. The cache is hidden on Falcon Ridge, where Denali50 and I live. We manage the tract as an active farm, as well as for wildlife habitat. The entire property is permanently protected through two Conservation Easements that require you to reach the cache location by walking along our farm roads.
You have our permission to come onto the property to locate the cache. Drive up Falcon View Drive and park in front of the green gate at the coordinates given below for Parking. For purposes of the sign near the highway, you are our “Guest”. From parking, walk west along the tree-shaded farm road for about 1/4 mile. When you reach a north-south farm road at the west edge of our property turn left and walk south to the cache location. No smoking is allowed on Falcon Ridge, per common sense and per stipulations of the Conservation Easements, and access is restricted to daylight hours. Enjoy your time at this special place! Do NOT attempt to approach the cache from the west. Such an approach would require trespass across a neighbor’s property and would necessitate a very difficult crossing of an irrigation canal.Stay on our road for the entire way to the cache location!
