Geocache Description:

This is the sixth of a series of 15 caches including a bonus, set out by some of the East Anglian GeoMobbers.

The route takes you on a 4.5 mile walk around Thetford Forest with a variety of different cache styles created by individual members of the EAGeoMobber forum.

The wherigo takes you on adventure into the depths of a cave hidden within the enchanted forest of Thetford to discover the whereabouts of the lost EA GeoMobber treasure.

Before you set out on your journey you will need to download the wherigo cartridge by clicking on the chest:

The Lost Treasure

You will need a GPS that supports Wherigo, or alternatively there are also apps available for most smart phones.

Notes on playing the game

At points in the game there are objects that you can pick up. For some of these you need to find a matching physical object in the real world.
Where there is a real item to find, then trying to pick the object up in the game will tell you if you are too far away to actually find the matching real world item.
Due to the nature of some Wherigo devices we have made a 'Location' to indicate where the real item is. This will get you to the right place to hunt. When you are there, then go back to the 'You see' screen and try to pick up the object. You will be prompted to enter the code that can be found engraved on the real world object.

Parking is available at Mayday Carpark (N 52°25.074 E 000°38.087).

The area is managed by the forestry commission and have been placed within the agreed East Anglian Forestry guidelines. Please respect the area when searching for the caches.
