Puiston muoto muistuttaa kuun sirppiä, josta nimi "Kuupuisto". Porin kaupungin uusin "Pori-Noormarkku Opaskartta 2013", esittelee tämän viehättävän ja luonnonläheisen puiston "leikkipuistona".
