This puzzle is a standard (not cryptic) acrostic, sometimes called a double-crostic. The grid, when properly filled in, contains a quote from a literary work. Use the clues to fill in the blanks, then transfer the letters from the blanks to the grid. Find examples online if you need them. When the left-column words (i.e. A-X) are completed the author's name and the title of the work are spelled vertically by the first letters of each word. I recommend you print out the images.
Once you have filled in the puzzle correctly, obtain the coordinates by converting the letters in the following grid squares to numbers by taking their position in the alphabet mod 10. For example, C (the 3rd letter), M (the 13th ), and W (the 23rd) all represent the number 3.
North: 131 138 20 92 155 18 73
West: 4 65 43 188 126 140 165 81
Anyone who wants to use my puzzle images to duplicate this acrostic in your own area is encouraged to do so. You can vary the cache page instructions to produce any coordinates you want.
Correction: Word L should say (2 wds.)
