The Florida Geocaching Association - Central Florida meeting will be held on Saturday, May 18th, 2002, @ 2:00 p.m.

West Florida - Central Florida - South Florida - North Florida
This meeting is to establish the Florida Geocaching Association and meet fellow Geocachers in the Central Florida Area. The next Central Florida meeting will be near the Tampa/St. Petersburg area so it won't be too much of a trip next time.Since Florida is a big peninsula it makes us a bit isolated fom the rest of the Country. Traveling to a meeting at any central location would be hard for many of the Florida geocachers. There are West Florida, Central Florida, South Florida, North Florida Event caches.
This is an informal get-together so everyone could meet and place the names with the faces.
This is a family-oriented event for everyone interested in geocaching in the State of Florida. Anyone is welcome to attend. There is a playground close to site we are meeting at if your kids want to play.
If you are attending this cache please "Post a Note" on this page so we can make sure we have enough refreshments and misc., AFTER the event you can log this cache as a "find".
