It's International PI Day and to celebrate we're having an informal geocacher meet and greet. This event is part of a US-based geocoin group multi-event happening nationwide.
When: Thursday March 14th at 6:00 pm
Where: Scatori's Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant, Myrtle Beach
(Right next to Lowes Foods - Hwy 544 & Bypass 17)
Why: To gather, eat and talk about geocaching, why else?
Who: This event is open to all. Both local and visiting cachers are all welcome.
There will be a limited edition South Carolina event geocoin available for purchase as well as a special commemorative Pi Day 2013 metal tag. The gallery will have artwork of both soon.
Come on out to meet and hang out with other cachers in the area. Discuss local cache hides and get some tips about our hobby. This establishment is even baking some apple pie especially for us in celebration of Pi Day. There will be a drawing or some games for few door prize items. Will update this listing with more details as plans firm up.
