Geocache Description:

ADOPTED from humboldt flier. The cache IS at the posted coordinates but in order to claim your smiley you must complete the requirements of the challenge first.

We recently completed a cache challenge that we thought was a lot of fun - it was based on the Twelve Days of Christmas song.  It was a good caching challenge but we didn't want to limit this to Christmas so we have created the Twelve Days of Caching Challenge.

Challenge Requirements:

You must find caches every day for 12 days in a row - any 12 days - not just the 12  before Christmas.  On the first day of your challenge you must find (at least) ONE cache, On the 2nd day of the challenge you must find (at least) TWO caches. On the 3rd day you must find (at least) THREE caches and so on until you get to day 12. On day twelve you must find (at least) TWELVE caches. I say "at least" because I wouldn't want to limit your caching in any way - so you may find as many as you like on each day as long as you get the minimum required for that day. ALL CACHE TYPES QUALIFY FOR THIS CHALLENGE.

Once you have completed your Twelve days of Caching Challenge you will have found (at least) 78 caches!! Please find an appropriate way to show me that you accomplished this but I prefer you NOT list all 78 caches in your log - that makes it tedious for future finders to slog through old logs. You may attach a screen shot, create a bookmark list, or even email me a list if you prefer. INTEGRITY IS IMPORTANT HERE: Honor yourself and play the game straight up. If you try to "cheat" you're only cheating yourself.

Have we done this challenge? YEP! You betcha - we completed this Twelve days of Caching Challenge on a run through the California and Nevada deserts together (humboldt flier and akiteflier).  We started the challenge on January 10, 2013 and finished on January 21, 2013.

Have fun!
