This cache was hidden in support of the Carroll County ADC Challenge (GC34YJM). Thanks to Deepdish23 for creating and maintaining that challenge cache! Now there is a hide on page 4001 of the map book for everyone to find. We're pleased to offer a new caching experience in Carroll County for you to enjoy.
Chuck & Jerry spent 4 years back in the 1760s resolving a border dispute between British colonies in Colonial America. You probably know them better as Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon. There is a Mason Dixon marker near this hide, although it is not one of the original ones. You are also spittin' distance from Germany...well Germany Township in Adams County Pennsylvania! It will be interstting to see whether we get more Marylanders or more Pennsylvanians visiting this hide - please let us know in your log. Another geocaching trivia note: One of us in from maryland, and one of us is from Pennsylvania!
There is room along the side of the road to pull off and take a look at the marker and fetch your smilie. Please take care as this road can be busy at times.
